Vietnam is a fascinating country of staggering beauty and cultural complexities of dynamic developing mega-cities and hill tribe villages.
As we rode north along the spine of Vietnam bordering Laos, we passed remote villages and farming districts where little had changed for centuries. We traveled at a relaxed pace through provinces where tourists didn’t venture, staying in local hotels and guest houses.
After weaving our way along the Ho Chi Minh Trail, visiting historic war sites, coffee regions, gold mines, thundering waterfalls, and the world’s largest cave, plus more spectacular sites, we ended our tour in Hanoi where after a full day tour, you could choose to extend your adventure to one or many of Vietnam’s ‘hot spots’.

Vietnam Motorbike Tours (VMT), our tour operator, hold a current fleet of twenty-five 2014-2018 Lifan Motorcycles: perfect for touring Vietnam! These are well-maintained, also meeting all the necessary CC guidelines for Vietnam Road Laws and International Travel Insurance (something every rider must have! Be sure to take out a policy that covers you for riding overseas). VMT motorcycles include in-country Limited 3rd party insurance. We also provide motorcycle damage cover (this comes as standard with all our tour packages). The VMT Fleet is fully serviced and maintained, this includes mechanical support throughout every tour. The Lifan is a full-size motorcycle which offers great style and comfort for western riders touring Vietnam. These Lifans are been extremely reliable! The gutsy engine performs well - even with rider and pillion on board! Pushed to their limits they will reach above 100km/h, although this is simply not needed as the average road speed on these beautifully curvy roads is around 70km/h. Our customer feedback has consistently confirmed that our selection of Motorbike has been the right choice for the job.
